Position Overview
As our Network Administrator, you will perform daily operations and maintenance activities to optimize our networks. It is your job to ensure the network is up and running smoothly, monitoring network traffic, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. In addition, you will run security breach prevention programs, arrange network maintenance, and run network management systems.
Position Responsibilities
· Perform maintenance and troubleshooting for Exchange and M365 email systems
· Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot 3CX, VoIP PBX digital phone systems
· Monitor and perform routine database backups, recovery, and optimization tasks
· Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and security of infrastructure systems
· Work on and resolve escalated Helpdesk Tickets related to Computer or Networking issues
· Management of firewalls, routers, switches, and other networking equipment
· Manage and maintain the organization's servers (physical and virtual), ensuring uptime and availability
· Administration of Active Directory, including user and group management, permissions, and security
· Install, upgrade, and maintain software, including operating systems, business applications, and system utilities
· Maintain endpoint security (antivirus, antimalware, patching), virus and malware removal
· Implement and enforce security policies, including monitoring network access, managing security protocols, and ensuring the organization meets industry compliance requirements
· Participate in the development and testing of disaster recovery plans for network systems; Ensure that backup systems and procedures are in place to minimize downtime in case of network failures
· Continuously monitor network performance to ensure the smooth operation of LAN, WAN, and other network systems; Use network monitoring tools to identify and resolve issues before they impact business operations
· Create and maintain detailed documentation on configurations, changes, and troubleshooting for all systems
Position Salary/Compensation
- Salary $70K-$90K+, depending on experience

Position Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related field from a 4-year accredited university
· 7+ years of experience with Network Administration
· Advanced skills with Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 deployments
· Administration of Microsoft Windows Server (2012 – 2022) Operating Systems
· Experience with configuring, deployment and administration of VMware Vsphere/Vcenter and virtual architecture
· Management of enterprise business networks, VLAN subnetting, Firewalls and networks
· Veeam backup and DR
· Cybersecurity experience a plus
· Administration of Linux servers, security, package updates, supporting interoperability with Windows
· Workstation imaging, WIM, department level custom OS deployments, PXE server/deployment
· Enterprise Networking, best practice topology, diagram creation, Network cabling, testing/replacement, fiber qualification
· 3CX phone system, QoS improvements, RPS and STUN server setup, automatic phone provisioning
· DataCenters/VMware/Hyper-V/Virtual networking
· Advanced Problem-Solving skills: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network and software issues
· Advanced Experience with implementing and managing SMB firewalls, VPNs, routers, and servers
· Project Management: Ability to manage network projects from planning to implementation with strong organizational and time management skills
· Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with owners, managers, IT support teams, vendors, and other departments successfully
