The Security Manager position is a key operational field role responsible for effective management of deployed company personnel while maintaining company standards with respect to Client requirements, personnel suitability, personnel availability and personnel performance. The Security Manager also assists the FPS management team in all areas of operational need as directed.
SCHEDULE
- Work Days- Tuesday to Saturday (Sunday and Monday off)
- Hours- Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday day shift. Friday and Saturday evening shift.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Provide outstanding and personalized customer service as a front-line representative of our client’s organizations
- Act as FPS first point of contact for all client and field staff inquiries while on duty
- Inspect contracted sites to ensure security staff meet company standards in terms of uniform, training and site procedures
- Respond to major incidents on properties and aid security staff with managing the situation (fire, flood, medical issue and criminal activity)
- Safely operate and maintain company issued vehicle, requires a Class C driver’s license
- Enforce property rules to maintain the security and safety of our clients and their assets
- Complete walking patrols and inspections of facilities and equipment as required
- Communicates and coordinates with management regarding scheduling, staffing, equipment, record keeping, and related matters, to ensure smooth delivery of services.
- Operational functions can include but is not limited to answering phones, dispatching resources, responding to alarms, spot-checking properties, site inspections, and other quality assurance-based tasks.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Driver’s license
- Clean DMV Record
- Pass a full background check
- Pass a drug test
- 1 Year relevant experience or combination of training and work experience
KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES
- Ability to foster a team atmosphere and work well as a member of a team
- Ability to organize work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Effective organizational skills and attention to detail
- Supervisory experience required
- Basic proficiency in use of MS Office applications and computerized scheduling software applications
- Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment with the ability to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous priorities, complex situations, a diverse team of employees and client requirements on an ongoing basis
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing for the purpose of public interaction and report writing
- Ability to provide quality customer service
