Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Security Engineer to join our team for the Auto Legacy Shutdown program. This individual will leverage their deep technical expertise to contribute to our cloud development initiatives using AWS and Data Modernization tools.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute strategic software development projects focused on AWS and Data Modernization tools with a strong emphasis on engineering tools, processes, applications, and programming languages.
- Collaborate closely with management to facilitate project work and provide leadership within the team.
- Lead team working sessions for assigned projects to plan, break down tasks, assign work, size, estimate, roadmap delivery, and ensure effective stakeholder communication.
- Develop and maintain essential project artifacts including scoping documents, project plans, timelines, stakeholder engagement plans, issue/risk management, and communication strategies.
- Develop and implement effective project communications for stakeholders across all levels, from analysts to senior executives, simplifying complex technical information into clear, targeted messaging.
- Prioritize tasks and deliver complex projects with minimal supervision, navigating ambiguity as needed.
Business Knowledge:
- A proactive problem-solver, capable of managing multiple priorities and demonstrating initiative in an evolving technical landscape.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring the successful delivery of software and cloud-based projects.
Technical Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with cloud development, specifically in AWS.
- Experience designing and developing event-driven solutions.
- Expertise with AWS Native services, including Glue, Lambda, IAM, and storage services like S3, Redshift, and Aurora.
- Proficiency in Apache Spark.
- Strong experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Scala, Python, and Node.js.
- Strong understanding of AWS relational databases.
- Automation expertise using BDD and Terratest.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with high-complexity, enterprise-level projects.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Pay: $40.00 - $43.00 per hour
