We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our network engineering team, overseeing the design, implementation, and management of complex integrated security systems.
As the Engineering Manager, you will be an essential leader in our configuration team, managing technical operations and ensuring the successful execution of network infrastructure projects. You will work directly with cross-functional teams to guarantee that all systems meet customer expectations and adhere to industry standards. This is a pivotal role that demands a combination of technical expertise and strong leadership capabilities.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Manage the Team: Oversee the network engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities to ensure the team's success and growth.
- Design and Implementation: Directly contribute to designing and implementing complex integrated systems including Access Control, Video Surveillance, Network Infrastructure, Intercoms, and Wireless Communications.
- Project Management: Manage the buildout, installation, and testing of systems, ensuring deadlines are met and client expectations are exceeded.
- System Requirements and Troubleshooting: Collaborate with teams to diagnose, solve issues, and ensure systems meet all defined requirements for functionality and security.
- Training & Documentation: Develop and maintain training materials for systems provided and ensure team members are proficient in handling technical challenges.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, effective communication, and timely delivery of systems.
- Process Improvement: Continuously enhance processes and workflows to streamline operations and improve productivity while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Stay Up to Date: Maintain technical expertise in the latest industry trends, products, applications, and services.
Requirements:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computing, IT, or related fields. Proven experience in network engineering, system design, and implementation within security or technology domains.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of IP systems (networking, WIFI, and Wired LAN setup), IP CCTV cameras and recording devices, mobile app and software installation, and IT infrastructure.
- Leadership Experience: Proven success in managing teams, driving performance, and navigating challenges to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to create and manage project plans, including scheduling, resourcing, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- AutoCAD Knowledge: Experience in creating work plans using AutoCAD is preferred but not required.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities; able to collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and senior leadership.
- Results-Driven: Highly organized, detail-oriented, with an ability to prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and drive continuous improvement.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time at our office in Monterey Park, CA (this is not a remote position).
