Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed / Unarmed Security Officers to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to respond effectively in various situations. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for protecting people, property, and assets while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Duties
- Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to identify potential threats or breaches.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, assessing the situation and taking appropriate action.
- Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Conduct thorough inspections of premises to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Provide assistance during conflicts or emergencies using conflict management skills.
- Prepare detailed reports of incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure public safety.
- Maintain proficiency in the use of firearms and other security equipment as required.
Qualifications
- Valid current armed security officer certification or law enforcement certificate is required.
- Experience in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- or training is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
