Job Title: Cloud Security Architect - Microsoft Azure & AWS
Location: Oakland, California with remote option.
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Security Architect specializing in Microsoft Azure & AWS. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing secure cloud-based solutions for our clients. As a Cloud Security Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of cloud infrastructure, applications, and data, while adhering to industry best practices and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure cloud architecture solutions on Microsoft Azure & AWS.
- Develop and maintain cloud security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Conduct security assessments and audits of cloud environments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into all stages of the cloud development lifecycle.
- Implement and manage security controls to protect cloud infrastructure, applications, and data.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and threats in the cloud environment.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security architects and other team members.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends, threats, and technology advancements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and HIPAA.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years focusing on cloud security.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure & AWS cloud platform and services.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles, practices, and technologies.
- Experience with security assessment tools and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or equivalent are highly desirable.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automation and orchestration tools for security operations.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and tools.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions in cloud environments.
Employee Benefits:
