Job Title: Cloud Security Architect - Microsoft Azure & AWS

Location: Oakland, California with remote option.

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Security Architect specializing in Microsoft Azure & AWS. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing secure cloud-based solutions for our clients. As a Cloud Security Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of cloud infrastructure, applications, and data, while adhering to industry best practices and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement secure cloud architecture solutions on Microsoft Azure & AWS.
Develop and maintain cloud security policies, standards, and procedures.
Conduct security assessments and audits of cloud environments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into all stages of the cloud development lifecycle.
Implement and manage security controls to protect cloud infrastructure, applications, and data.
Monitor and respond to security incidents and threats in the cloud environment.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security architects and other team members.
Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends, threats, and technology advancements.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and HIPAA.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years focusing on cloud security.
Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure & AWS cloud platform and services.
Strong understanding of cloud security principles, practices, and technologies.
Experience with security assessment tools and methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or equivalent are highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with automation and orchestration tools for security operations.
Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and tools.
Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions in cloud environments.
