Are you an Application Security Engineer with a background in development?
A 100% remote software development company is looking to bring on someone like this. They lead the branded resale and trade-in industry. Its platform offers tools for in-store and digital trade-ins, inventory management, resale site building, essentially a system that helps brands take back used items, prepare them for resale, and sell them again—either online or in stores through portals like Shopify.
They are growing a lot and, in this role, you would be working hand in hand with the development team to make sure the code is secure, also doing things like SAST and DAST scans. They Use a third party for webapp pen testing, so you would be helping remediate, patching, and testing the code to make sure it’s all done securely.
Required Skills & Experience

Minimum of 4-8 years’ experience of Application Security Engineering.

Background in Software Engineering/Development.
Experience with AWS environments and API integrations.
Experience with Python/Java.
Expertise in debugging code, id sec vulnerabilities, and utilizing internal tool sets effectively.
