Position Overview:

The Director of Cybersecurity will lead the development of a rapidly growing business focused on securing both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments. This role requires a visionary leader who can drive business development, architect client solutions, and provide strategic direction to a skilled technical team.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development: Drive growth by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and leading engagements with clients in Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Financial Markets.

Client Solution Architecture: Develop and oversee the implementation of innovative cybersecurity strategies tailored to client needs, leveraging the expertise of the technical team based in Washington, DC.

Leadership: Provide strong leadership to a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and a culture of excellence.

Strategic Growth: Identify emerging trends and technologies in cybersecurity to position the business as a market leader.

Travel: Approximately 5-10 days per month, as needed, for client and team engagements.

Qualifications:

Experience: Proven track record in leading cybersecurity initiatives, with a strong understanding of IT and OT security requirements.

Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead diverse teams in high-pressure environments.

Business Acumen: Experience in business development and building client relationships, preferably within Healthcare, Manufacturing, or Financial sectors.

Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and emerging threats.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) preferred.

Location Flexibility: Ability to work from Chicago, Denver, or Washington, DC, with willingness to travel as needed.
