Hibas Gulf Shores Karaoke & Arcade Bar is looking for a dedicated Lead Security professional to help ensure a safe, enjoyable environment for our patrons and staff. As Lead Security, you’ll play a vital role in overseeing the security team, managing incidents, and collaborating with our Head of Security to maintain high standards. Responsibilities:
- Supervise Security Team: Oversee the security team during your shift, providing guidance, assigning tasks, and ensuring adherence to security protocols.
- Ensure Safety and Security: Conduct regular patrols of the premises, monitor entrances and exits, and address any disturbances or security concerns promptly.
- Incident Management: Document and report incidents or security breaches to the Head of Security, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Customer Service: Maintain a welcoming presence, assist patrons with security-related questions, and professionally de-escalate conflicts to keep the environment safe and enjoyable.
- Access Control: Verify patron identification for age compliance, manage crowd control during peak times, and prevent unauthorized entry.
- Staff Training: Assist the Head of Security in training new security team members on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and customer service.
- Collaborate with Management: Work closely with the Head of Security and bar management to implement security strategies, support event planning, and communicate any safety concerns.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a security role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead position.
- Strong understanding of security protocols, de-escalation techniques, and emergency procedures.
- Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to guide and motivate a team.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective in high-stress situations.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and keen observation skills.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Previous experience in a security role within the hospitality or entertainment industry.
- Knowledge of crowd management and event security protocols.
- Training in first aid or conflict resolution.
