Full Job Description

Come work at Reliance Security Services, one of the leaders in our field in the region. We are looking to hire Unarmed Security Officers for a site in St. Albans that may switch to Armed Officers in the near future. Canidates that apply must be able to undergo our Armed Officer Training Academy if/when the client requires it.

Responsibilities

Assume overall responsibility for the safety and security of designated areas
Patrol designated areas in accordance with outlined security procedures
Identify potential security risks and respond accordingly
Complete incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents
Respond to emergencies and incidents within designated areas promptly and according to policy
Assist employees and visitors with any concerns they might have
Escalate emergency situations to law enforcement as needed
Monitor alarms and security cameras

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Must be at least 21 years old
Ability to pass a background check & Drug Test
Previous security-related work experience preferred
MUST BE ABLE TO LEGALLY POSSESS A FIREARM
Must be able to complete basic physical skills/training. (such as handcuffing, hand to hand defensive tactics, and baton training)
Firearms Training Certification and/or Requalification (Yearly)

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 - 12 hour shifts
Monday to Friday
Weekend availability

Education:

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Driver's License (Preferred)
