(Sergeant) Security Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

The following are examples only and are not intended to be all inclusive or restrictive:

● Must have knowledge of RLD regulations that pertain to Private Patrol Operators and Security Guards as well as company policies and procedures

● Working knowledge of eHub, GuardMetrics, Samara GPS system, and Paylocity

● Properly execute policies described in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Employee Handbook

● Provide training to new security officers and monitor work performance during the evaluation period

● Maintain a regular and consistent attendance record

● Acts as a member for interview panels, conduct employee orientation in absence of Lieutenant, and train employees

● Satisfactorily complete all required trainings assigned/required

● Recognize outstanding actions, review disciplinary actions, address complaints, and resolve issues

● Conduct investigations and gather necessary information in a timely matter

● Effectively interact and communicate with local law enforcement agencies when needed

● Respond to urgent matters, emergencies

● Maintain a clean and professional appearance

● May be tasked with other duties not listed

Required Skills:

● 5+ years of supervisory/management experience required - prior law enforcement or military experience (preferred)

● Knowledge of security environments, hazards, and protocols

● Excellent interpersonal and leadership

● Exceptional professional acumen

● Familiar with MS Office applications and computer technologies

● Solid work ethic with a high level of integrity

● Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of management both verbally and written

● Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

● A dependable team player with business maturity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude

Pay and Benefits for Security Officers:

● $25 to $30 hr. DOE

Physical Requirements:

● Frequent extended sitting, standing, and walking

● Frequent climbing stairs, ramps, and occasionally ladders

● Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling

● Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds

● Occasional running, as needed

● Frequent reaching, grasping, and keyboarding

Education and Certification Requirements:

Must have active NM RLD level 3 guard card

Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent

Possession of a valid Driver’s License with clean NM MVR record

Possession of a Taser, baton, OC, handcuff, and CPR (required)

Other:

Must have open availability to work any day and shift as needed

Must be at least 21 years of age and able to provide documentation showing authorization to work in the U.S.

Employment is contingent on successful completion of an extensive background check and pre-employment drug screen

If prior military, must provide DD214 discharge document with discharge status upon job offer
